Apple wanted to build an office space that will be the most advanced and most expensive office space ever built on the planet. However, the space, also known as Apple Campus 2, is likely to cost Apple more than it had initially imagined.
Bloomberg Businessweek reported that the budget of the construction has failed by $2 billion. Steve Jobs announced that the spaceship-like campus will need $3 billion to develop. The fact that Android-based smartphones are available in all shapes, sizes, and price is the one that probably makes iPhone owners feel bad. At least, an article on Business Insider published on March 12th implies so.
B.I. writer Nicholas Carlson says that owning an Android does not really feel like using a smartphone.
He opens his article by writing that Android owners are less likely to purchase items with their phone, browse the web or watch videos compared to iPhone owners. Apple probably should learn a lesson that they can no longer satisfy customers with same-looking same-functioning iPhones and iPads forever. It’s time they come up with something new or this decline will continue. Now that Steve Jobs is no more, the survival of Apple, at least in smartphone industry, might be at stake.
Apple has recently released the full and final version of iOS 6.1 after going through five beta versions.
The new version is said to bring 4G LTE support for iPhone across 36 carriers as well as 23 more for iPad. The personal voice-assistant Siri is now smarter to buy movie ticket for iOS 6.1 users which is being said to be one of the two major features of this release.
